New in 2022:

Teeth in a hyena’s face always slide into place.

Teeth, a short monodrama for piano, spoken word and fixed media, set in the year 2020, in which a woman faces her mind-bending isolation and struggles to comprehend the epidemic of death.  Eliza Garth premiered it at Merkin Hall in March, 2023.

The text for the work begins with this East African proverb, translated by A. M. Juster, continues with the traditional hymn, ‘Open My Eyes, That I May See’, and includes additional text by the composer.
